A rogue-like survival RPG about one anxious little bird, a forest full of freaks, and a nest that refuses to build itself. Die. Rage. Respawn. Repeat.

You play a scruffy, sarcastic anti-hero bird who starts out in caveman armour — literally bones and leaves — and claws his way up to a high-tech warbird. Fight through bizarre forests, grab loot, drag your oddball feathered family out of trouble, and build the meanest nest the woods have ever seen. He doesn't want to be a hero. He just wants a home. And maybe a nap.
Brutal little rogue-like runs through forests crawling with tanks, healers and DPS freaks. Dodge, dash, peck, repeat. Die, learn, come back angrier.
Blow your loot back home in the Nest — a cosy city-builder hub where every upgrade makes the next run a little less lethal.
Rescue lost cousins and uncles, each weirder than the last. They unlock new abilities, buildings and very bad ideas.
Some are family. Some want you dead. Most are both.
Our hero. Anxious, passive-aggressive, mildly unhinged — and somehow totally lovable.
Two horned troublemakers lurking in the dark. Cool jackets. Worse intentions.
Long-legged, pointy-horned and dumb as rocks. They travel in pairs and make terrible choices.
Drop your email and you're first through the door when the beta opens in July. Beta birds shape the game — and earn permanent bragging rights.
A first playable slice — the Nest, the forest, combat and the core loop. Limited birds, loads of feedback.
More biomes, more enemies, more deranged family members, deeper progression. It starts to feel whole.
New seasons, friends & guilds, async multiplayer nest raids, and a whole lot more chaos.
Down the road, Sad Birdie will add an optional Play-to-Earn layer for the most competitive birds — earn rewards, collect cosmetics, even chip in for real-world birdlife charities. A bonus for those who want it, never a paywall for those who don't. The game comes first. Always.
